A beautiful community building in Silk Willoughby, near Sleaford, our village hall was built in 1858 and was originally the village school until its closure in 1971.
The village hall is now available for hire for group meetings, celebrations, classes and as it is situated in a quiet area it is ideal for business meetings.
From cups to chairs, everything our hall has to offer for your booking
Our hall can be hired from as little as 1 hour to a full weekend.
Coffee mornings, art group, yoga and more are regularly on offer.
Located on School Lane in Silk Willoughby, our village hall is just 2 miles from the busy town of Sleaford. There is currently on-street parking on School Lane which is a quiet residential side-street and not the main thoroughfare in Silk Willoughby.
To book our village hall for your event simply complete the form including the date you require and any other details and someone will get in touch
We are a small group of volunteers/villagers who are keen to keep the Village Hall in good order and available for the community.
Most of us live in the village and have made the commitment to become trustees of the village hall.
We are passionate about the maintenance of this charming former school and also about keeping the hall alive with events and activities to support the local community.
We were proud to play a part in the re-housing of our post office, which was under threat several years ago and to work collaboratively with the Parish Council, Church Council and the village pub to keep the heart of Silk Willoughby beating.
We take the Safety of our hall users seriously and alongside our Health and Safety guidelines and risk assessments, we have a Safeguarding policy and a designated Safeguarding Trustee.
